About My One Word Blog & Me

Hello Readers!

A quick recap about the WHY of this blog. While I have been attempting Bible study on and off for about 10 years now, I never really got into it. Six years ago, my pastor brought in the My One Word concept. Basically, I pick a single word that I want to focus on for self-improvement for the year. Kind of a one-word New Year's resolution. So, WHEN I am reading the Bible, I ask how does it apply to the one area I want to focus on in my life. It was a great idea and it helped. However, I know that if you want to do a really good Bible study, I should be journal-ling. I hate writing. So I decided to type my journal. And six stages later, I have a blog. The IMMEDIATE result for me? In less than two weeks, I have found out that this has helped ME tremendously. In multiple areas of my life. Thanks for joining me on my journey. I hope yours is just as awesome.
